Invigilation Coordinator

Part time (21 hours), Term Time Only, Permanent

£18,210.68 - £19,732.66 per annum including London Weighting allowance (Pro-Rata of £33,658 - £36,471 per annum including London Weighting Allowance)

We are seeking an ambitious, outstanding candidate to join our Support staff at United Colleges Group as an Invigilation Coordinator. We are a forward-thinking education provider and our mission is to deliver outstanding, world class education and skills.

About the role

We are seeking to appoint a keen, enthusiastic, conscientious, and proactive individual as an Invigilation coordinator to join a vibrant Examinations Team.  Your responsibilities will include planning all invigilation requirements across the Group ensuring that a bank of invigilators are maintained throughout the academic year and that all have been sufficiently trained in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate experience of working in a busy administration or examinations office.  It is also essential that you have good organisational skills; in particular, you will be effective in planning and prioritising a heavy workload and meeting conflicting deadlines.  Successful candidates will have careful attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of people that includes awarding bodies, students and staff. 

We are looking for a strong team player, someone with a flexible approach to their work and who is willing to help out where needed. It is also essential that you are committed to raising standards within the service.
