About the Role
Are you passionate about helping young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) achieve their ambitions and move into meaningful employment? We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Inclusive Employment Coach to join our Supported Internship team.
In this rewarding role, you will work closely with learners, employers, families and colleagues to provide personalised support that helps young people develop confidence, independence and employability skills. You will identify suitable work placements, support learners in the workplace, build strong employer partnerships, and help interns progress into sustainable paid employment.
You will play a key role in creating positive outcomes for learners by removing barriers, promoting inclusion, and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
About You
You are a passionate advocate for inclusion who believes in the potential of every young person. You have experience supporting learners with additional needs and enjoy building positive relationships that inspire confidence, resilience and growth.
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with young people with SEND or learning support needs.
Understands the SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding responsibilities.
Can build effective relationships with employers, learners, families and external partners.
Is organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
Has excellent communication and administrative skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office.
Is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive and empowering environment where all learners can thrive.
Most importantly, you will bring enthusiasm, empathy and a genuine commitment to helping young people overcome barriers and achieve successful employment outcomes.
