HPL Hairdressing Lecturer

Variable Hours, Fixed-Term

£33.40 per hour (including holiday pay) – Tutor Rate, £28.19 per hour (including holiday pay) – Teaching Rate, £21.59 per hour (including holiday pay) – Additional Duties Rates

The Hair and Beauty Department is looking for a Hairdressing Lecturer who is suitably qualified and experienced. You will have responsibility for planning and preparing lessons, generating individual learning plans, monitoring students’ learning progress, assessing students’ work and providing subject specific academic counselling and other associated duties as required by the Curriculum Leader.

You will be required to have either a qualification in hairdressing, have excellent communication skills for dealing with clients, students and staff. Your responsibility will also include providing excellent customer care and maintain health and safety practices for the benefit of learners and the wider community served by the College.
