The Role

UCG’s in-house Graphic Designer undertakes all creative graphic design work for the Marketing & Communications team, as well as servicing the design needs of the wider organisation. The role leads on the design process for printed and digital collateral, collaborating with various stakeholders to support student recruitment objectives, managing design schedules, and maintaining brand guidelines. The postholder will produce a range of assets from out-of-home printed formats to digital social media assets, as well as leading on the relationship with external printers and suppliers.

About You

The ideal candidate for the Graphic Designer position should possess significant experience in graphic design, preferably within the education sector or youth marketing, demonstrating proficiency in Creative Software packages such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. You should have a track record of managing branding and rolling out brand guidelines within complex organisations, along with the ability to produce high-quality work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and good knowledge of current design trends and printing techniques, as well as strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present design concepts. A degree or formal training in design, would be advantageous.
